About CheckMyBroker

CheckMyBroker is an independent broker-verification service built for the people who actually move the freight: owner-operators and small carriers.

Every day, carriers hand a load — and an invoice worth thousands — to a company they found on a load board minutes earlier. The tools that exist to manage that risk were built for brokers to vet carriers, not the other way around. We built the other way around.

What we do

We compile the public record on US property brokers on file — not just the active ones. The directory includes active, inactive and revoked authorities, FMCSA authority data, the BMC-84 surety-bond or BMC-85 trust filing and provider, cancellation filings, authority age and revocation history. Sources are refreshed on a schedule, and each fact shows its last successful check because source or processing delays can occur. Carrier payment reports are displayed separately as user-submitted accounts that CheckMyBroker has not independently verified.

What we don’t do

We don’t call anyone a scammer. We publish records with sources and dates, label carrier reports as unverified individual experiences, and give every broker a right of reply and a way to dispute data. When the record is wrong, we correct it — fast.

Where the data comes from

Official public sources (data.transportation.gov, FMCSA licensing and insurance records) and the carriers who use the site.

Who we are

A small independent team operates CheckMyBroker from the Republic of Moldova. We’re not owned by a broker, a load board, or a factoring company. Public broker lookup is free.
