Corrections
Corrections & disputes
CheckMyBroker corrects inaccurate public-record data and offers brokers a right of reply.
How to request a correction
Use the dispute form on the broker’s profile page, or email support@checkmybroker.ai with the MC number and the specific field you believe is wrong.
An authorized representative may request a copy of the profile at no charge and submit a short written statement identifying a disputed factual item and the nature of the disagreement. We compare the item with the cited public source and record the request in our internal case history. If the displayed public-record field is inaccurate, we correct or remove it; a broker may separately submit a public right of reply for a carrier report.
Our response time
We aim to review correction requests within five business days. Include an email if you want a response; it is used only for follow-up and is not published.
What happens during a dispute
While we review, the disputed data point stays visible but we prioritise checking it against the official FMCSA record; if the public record is wrong we correct it, and brokers may add a public right of reply. No data is removed, raised, or lowered in exchange for payment.
